The York Juniors extended their winning streak to seven games Tuesday as they defeated St. Paul 7-1 at Levitt Stadium. Mason Wright went six of the seven innings on the mound in picking up the victory. Wright allowed no runs, two hits and struck out 11. The Juniors’ record is now 9-4 on the season. The dye was cast at the plate with Tyler Cast leading the way with three hits and Wyatt Cast added two more. The York streak is the longest since the York Blue won nine straight to begin the season in 2003.
